A native of St. Michael, MN, Dr. Haus grew up with elderly parents as the youngest of 9 children and saw them go through a number of issues, inspiring him to learn more about helping people. He enjoys the challenge that comes with practicing medicine and is charged by the satisfaction that comes with helping others.

Joining the Glenwood community has allowed Dr. Haus the ability to stay near his large family in a setting that he considers nothing short of beautiful.
He received extensive schooling before joining our medical team and it started with his Bachelor of Arts degree in biomedical science from St. Cloud State University.

Dr. Haus received specialized training in cardiology and women’s health from the University of Minnesota Medical School before joining GRHS in 1997.

Dr. Haus and his wife Karen, along with their four children, enjoy new learning opportunities like science museum visits, live theatre, biking and jumping on trampolines. When spending time to himself, he enjoys gardening, running and working on his ’33 Plymouth hot rod.
