Clinic LPN

Glenwood Medical Center is seeking a dedicated individual seeking a fulfilling career to join our family medicine team. As a clinic LPN, you play a crucial role in supporting an experienced physician while providing exceptional patient care.
This full-time position is weekdays with approximately 1:10+ weekend rotation at our Walk-In Clinic. Clinic LPNs may also be scheduled for the Walk-In Clinic, 7 am – 7 pm shifts as needed to cover days off, illness, etc.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Administering medications and vaccinations.
- Recording patient vital signs and updating medical history in the EMR.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for preventative, acute, and chronic illnesses.
- Clean, prepare and restock exam rooms.
- Assist physician with procedures as directed.
- Administer medications and allergy shots as ordered.
- Schedule mammograms, CT scans, ultrasounds, surgery, or any outpatient procedures as directed by the physician.
- Perform hearing and tympanogram tests for individuals and companies; UA collection for routine and company drug screens; ear washes; BPV’s; EKG’s; immunizations; dressing changes.
- Send reports of pap smears, mammogram results or any follow-up calls (including Labs) to patients under the direction of the physician.
- Provide patient education as directed.
- Ensure all pertinent patient information is documented in the EMR.
- Send requests to the Referral Coordinator for appointments with other specialty clinics and physicians.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Current LPN in the state of Minnesota.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Decision-making and problem-solving.
- Team building.
- Must adhere to HIPAA confidentiality standards.
- Must adhere to the Keys to Heartfelt Care.
- Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position.

Schedule
- Full-Time, Weekdays
- Weekend rotation at Glenwood Medical Center’s Walk-In Clinic, approx. 1:10+
- May be scheduled for 7am-7pm Walk-In Clinic as needed.
- May be assigned to work with other clinic providers as needed.
