Optometrist – Full-Time or Part-Time

Join a respected independent optometry practice known for exceptional, personalized patient care. Glenwood Family Eye Center, part of Glacial Ridge Health System, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Optometrist to provide high-quality vision and eye health services for patients of all ages.

Our practice includes another experienced Optometrist and a visiting Ophthalmologist who performs outpatient eye surgeries at Glacial Ridge Hospital and provides follow-up care at the eye center. Together, they deliver comprehensive, coordinated eye care in a modern clinic equipped with advanced diagnostic technology and a strong support team.

We’re hiring for a full-time Monday–Friday position, or part-time with a flexible three- or four-day workweek. This opportunity offers a full, established patient schedule in a supportive, professional setting—without the pressure of a corporate model. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive eye exams and vision care for patients of all ages.
  • Diagnose and manage ocular conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and dry eye.
  • Prescribe corrective lenses and collaborate with optical staff to ensure optimal vision outcomes.
  • Build trusted relationships with patients through clear communication and compassionate care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold the highest standards of clinical quality.

Ideal Candidate

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Minnesota.
  • Committed to providing individualized, high-quality patient care.
  • Professional, approachable, and collaborative with staff and patients.
