SUMMARY:Expectant Parent Classes
DESCRIPTION:Are you about to become a parent? In two evening sessions\, our nursing staff teach and discuss the stages of labor; comfort measures for labor\, nutrition\, and exercise; and baby care\, including feeding\, bathing\, and safety. The course also includes parenting information provided by Pope County’s Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE)\, and Infant CPR instruction by Glacial Ridge Emergency Services & Training. Finally\, we discuss breastfeeding – including benefits\, positions\, and how to know your baby is getting enough. \nThis class is open to all expectant parents. The fee for both sessions is $20.
