Pediatric Therapy focuses on the “jobs” of childhood such as play to help children achieve developmental goals and the highest level of independence and function possible.
The seminar is presented by occupational therapist Laura Notch, physical therapist Amanda Volesky, and speech therapist Brianna Hennen.
- Physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy milestones to watch for while your child grows.
- How to engage in purposeful play with your child.
- Easy and fun activities for in-home play while working on age-appropriate milestones.
- How to seek additional services if you are concerned with your child’s development.
BONUS – Child care will be provided by National Honor Society students if you would like your child(ren) to be distracted while you learn about purposeful play and pediatric therapy. Care for children is available during this seminar only.
The seminar will last 30-45 minutes and is in one of the classrooms at Minnewaska Area High School.
