DESCRIPTION:SAVE THE DATE: As the Auxiliary’s premier fundraising event of the year\, the Harvest Ball promises an elegant evening filled with purpose\, connection\, and celebration. Theme: Tropical Paradise \nDinner\, Dance & Auctions at Lakeside Ballroom\nDress up\, have a great meal\, bid on live and silent auction items\, and dance the night away! It is truly an event you won’t want to miss. \n5p: Doors Open\nCheck out the Live and Silent Auction items\, Games of Chance including our famous “Walls of Wine and Walls of Beer” plus a 50/50 Cash Drawing \n7p: Dinner and Live Auction \n9p: Dancing to the live band Mid-Flight\n \nTickets: Available mid August \nOur Why: We are supporting the purchase of an additional TE X Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) machine for the Glacial Ridge Emergency Department. The bedside ultrasound allows for faster diagnosis in emergencies\, versus waiting for a CT scan or other diagnostic test. The ER team has identified life-threatening conditions such as internal bleeding\, vascular issues such as AAA\, abdominal issues such as gallstones\, and so much more. All the full-time providers in the GRHS Emergency Department (ER) are credentialed to use this technology and look forward to learning more about the new echocardiogram capabilities. \n
