DESCRIPTION:You’re invited to join the Auxiliary for a comforting Loaded Baked Potato bar featuring a hot baked potato\, plenty of delicious toppings\, homemade bars\, and beverage. It’s going to be delicious! \nDetails:\nIt takes place on Wednesday\, August 26 from 11:30 am – 1 pm\, in the Common Ground Cafe on the lower level of Glacial Ridge Health System. \nCost: FREE WILL DONATION\, with a suggested donation of $10/person. We can accept cash\, checks made payable to GRHS Auxiliary\, and Venmo \nFundraiser Details:\nLoad up for a good cause! Proceeds from the Loaded Baked Potato Bar will help sustain the GRHS Auxiliary’s scholarship program\, which awards three $2\,000 scholarships each year to area graduates pursuing education in a healthcare profession. Raising $6\,000 annually requires dependable fundraising support\, and every donation helps ensure these meaningful scholarships can remain at their current level for future students. DESCRIPTION:SAVE THE DATE: As the Auxiliary’s premier fundraising event of the year\, the Harvest Ball promises an elegant evening filled with purpose\, connection\, and celebration. Theme: Tropical Paradise \nDinner\, Dance & Auctions at Lakeside Ballroom\nDress up\, have a great meal\, bid on live and silent auction items\, and dance the night away! It is truly an event you won’t want to miss. \n5p: Doors Open\nCheck out the Live and Silent Auction items\, Games of Chance including our famous “Walls of Wine and Walls of Beer” plus a 50/50 Cash Drawing \n7p: Dinner and Live Auction \n9p: Dancing to the live band Mid-Flight\n \nTickets: Available mid August \nOur Why: We are supporting the purchase of an additional TE X Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) machine for the Glacial Ridge Emergency Department. The bedside ultrasound allows for faster diagnosis in emergencies\, versus waiting for a CT scan or other diagnostic test. The ER team has identified life-threatening conditions such as internal bleeding\, vascular issues such as AAA\, abdominal issues such as gallstones\, and so much more. All the full-time providers in the GRHS Emergency Department (ER) are credentialed to use this technology and look forward to learning more about the new echocardiogram capabilities. \n
