Laura grew up nearby in Farwell, MN. She attended Minnesota State University Moorhead for her undergraduate degree and the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks for her graduate degree. Laura is certified for LSVT BIG, which helps people with Parkinson’s disease, and IASTM, or instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization. Laura became an occupational therapist in 2014 and joined Glacial Ridge Health System in February of 2017. She describes her day as variable – from working with pediatric clients to seeing someone after having shoulder surgery to working with an older adult in the hospital for a safe return home. Laura enjoys crocheting baby hats and afghans and being outside, hiking and camping with her husband and two children.
