Podiatry_Feet_AnkleWelcome Relief for Your Feet

Comprehensive foot and ankle care services are just steps away at Glacial Ridge Health System. Podiatry is the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the foot and ankle. The foot and ankle is a complex area of the human skeletal system. Your feet have more than 100 muscles, ligaments and tendons, and more than a quarter of your body’s bones. Obtaining expertise in this region of the body requires years of training, education, and practice by a podiatrist.

Our in-house podiatrist, Alissa Redding, DPM, has five years of diverse experience assisting patients of all ages. Her expertise lies in diagnosing and treating injuries and conditions of the foot and ankle. Dr. Redding’s practice philosophy places emphasis on collaborating with her patients and considering their overall health, expectations, and lifestyles. With her extensive experience, Dr. Redding will determine the cause of the ailment and then develop a customized treatment plan that may include prescribed medications, physical therapy, bracing, or surgery to correct the problem. Her medical interests include diabetic care, wound care, and all aspects of foot and ankle surgery.
