Raised in rural northwest Iowa, Anne spent much of her childhood on her grandparents’ farm, which instilled in her a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for community. With both parents working in healthcare, she was inspired to pursue a path where she could make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Anne earned bachelor’s degrees in biology and nursing from Augustana College in South Dakota. She worked as a hospital RN for three years before obtaining her Master of Science in Nursing degree with a focus in Nurse-Midwifery from Philadelphia University in 2011.
With over 14 years of experience, she provides comprehensive women’s health services, including:
- Obstetric care
- Breastfeeding support and lactation counseling
- Menopause management
- Colposcopies
- Reproductive care, such as contraception management and family planning.
- Health promotion through preventative gynecological care
- Pelvic floor health
Anne’s approach to care is collaborative and empowering. She values open communication and strives to create a safe, supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and involved in their healthcare decisions. Her goal is to tailor care to each individual’s needs and build long-term relationships to support them through every stage of life.
Anne joined Glacial Ridge Health System in August 2025. She was drawn to GRHS for its collaborative and close-knit environment, as well as the opportunity to provide full-spectrum care. Anne appreciates the strong sense of community in Glenwood, the natural beauty of the area, and the welcoming spirit of its people, making it the perfect place for her to provide compassionate, patient-centered care for women.
Outside of work, Anne enjoys spending time with her husband and their two boys. She loves being outdoors—whether relaxing on the lake, hiking, or simply taking her two dogs for a walk.
