Emergency Medical Services
Glacial Ridge Ambulance provides 24-hour advanced and basic life support services to residents and visitors of Pope County and eastern Stearns County. For the quickest response time when every minute counts, ambulances are stationed in Glenwood, Starbuck, and Brooten. Working closely with fire departments and law enforcement agencies, our EMS team is available 24/7 to help our community the moment an emergency happens.
- Emergency pre-hospital care and transportation to the hospital during medical emergencies
- Assisting medical personnel in the Emergency Department at Glacial Ridge Hospital
- Coordinating, evaluating, and implementing emergency preparedness plans for the hospital’s response to natural or other disasters
- Teaching American Heart Association and EMS-approved courses for the public and emergency responders
