I started with my trainer around four years ago. She has been a very caring and helpful advocate for me. We have worked through some injuries with physical therapy and she constantly checks on my welfare. We have worked together for good health and nutritional programs for an all-around sense of well-being. Whenever I have been asked by friends and co-workers I have always recommended that they try wellness. It is very empowering to have an opportunity to enjoy improving my health and have caring people be a part of it.

Welcome to the new you!
I’ve been working out at the Wellness Center for about 2 years. When I started I didn’t have a specific goal in mind besides getting in better shape. I started out slow by just walking on the treadmill. After a couple months, I got the courage to try a Yoga class. That’s when I met Shannon; she was very encouraging and helpful since I was new to her class. Since then I have gone to Shannon’s classes twice a week (or well most of the time). I also try to go one or two days besides to do my own workout routine. Since I’ve started on this journey, I’ve lost about 15 lbs and it didn’t happen overnight. It has taken consistency and motivation to get where I am today.
