Clinic LPN – Walk-In Clinic

Work closely with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and physicians to provide exceptional care for the treatment of minor injuries or illnesses. From assisting with procedures to supporting patients with follow-up care if needed, every day is different. - Clean, prepare and restock exam rooms.
- Assist physician with procedures as directed.
- Administer medications and allergy shots as ordered.
- Schedule mammograms, CT scans, ultrasounds, surgery, or any outpatient procedures as directed by the physician.
- Perform hearing and tympanogram tests for individuals and companies; UA collection for routine and company drug screens; ear washes; BPV’s; EKG’s; immunizations; dressing changes.
- Notify patients of lab or radiology results or complete any follow-up calls to patients under the direction of the provider.
- Provide patient education as directed.
- Ensure all pertinent patient information is documented in the EMR.
- Send requests to the Referral Coordinator for appointments with other specialty clinics and physicians.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Current LPN within the state of Minnesota.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Decision-making and problem-solving.
- Team building.
- Must adhere to HIPAA confidentiality standards.
- Must adhere to the Keys to Heartfelt Care.
- Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position.
Schedule
- Full-Time, 64 hours per pay period
- Weekdays
- Two 7am-7pm shifts and one 8-hour shift per week; subject to change for coverage as needed
- Weekend rotation at Walk-In Clinic, approx. 1:10+
