Personal Trainer (Fitness Class Instructor — Optional)
Glacial Ridge Wellness Center in Glenwood, MN is hiring a certified Personal Trainer — with an optional opportunity to also serve as a Group Fitness Class Instructor. This part-time role (with full-time potential based on clientele) is ideal for fitness professionals looking to build a personal training client base in a supportive healthcare setting.
- Candidates must hold a current, nationally recognized personal trainer certification (ACSM, NSCA, ACE, AFFA, or equivalent), and CPR/First Aid certification.
- Have flexible availability to meet client scheduling needs.
- Experience with wellness center equipment and a passion for health education are a plus. Willingness to assist at the front desk between sessions is preferred.
- Group fitness instructor certification is preferred but not required for those interested in leading classes.
- Pay is $25.88/hr for personal training; class instruction ranges from $20.06–$28.18/hr. Competitive benefits package included.

- Certified instructor is preferred for group exercise instructor, but not required.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Train clients.
- Ensure participants have correct body form and alignment to prevent injury.
- Do not allow unpaid non-members to use the facility.
- Other duties as assigned.
Schedule
- Per clients’ needs.
- Part-Time; Hours may become Full-Time depending on personal trainer clientele base.
