professional picture of a womanDr. Fletcher has lived across the United States. Originally from Memphis, TN, her family moved to Whiteland, IN where she attended middle and high school. She received bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Linguistics with a minor in French from Purdue University in Indiana. During a semester studying abroad, Dr. Fletcher volunteered at a hospital in Ghana and decided to go on to medical school after graduating. She obtained her doctorate from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and completed her family medicine residency as well as a fellowship in obstetrics at SeaMar Community Health Center in Marysville, WA.

Dr. Fletcher understands the importance of listening to a patient to provide the highest-quality care. Knowing what they’re experiencing, she can individualize care to the unique needs and situations of each patient while prioritizing patient safety and evidence-based medicine.

She looks forward to caring for individuals and families of all ages. Her diverse medical interests include obstetrics and cesarean sections, infertility, migraine treatment, menopause symptom management, herbal and alternative medicine, substance abuse treatment, behavioral health, and preventative and lifestyle medicine. Dr. Fletcher is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and joined Glacial Ridge Health System in October 2022.

Dr. Fletcher was impressed that GRHS is a growing, independent hospital that provides accessible, high-quality, personalized, full-spectrum care. She also sensed a different vibe at GRHS –staff and providers seemed more satisfied and well-supported than at other clinics and hospitals she has experienced.

The Glenwood area stood out to her and her husband as a thriving and vibrant rural community with friendly people. They felt welcomed and knew it was the perfect place to live and raise a family.

When Dr. Fletcher and her husband, Jon, aren’t chasing after their young, energetic son as he explores how everything works, she enjoys relaxing with a good book or baking bread. To recharge, she also likes hiking, camping, and dancing. Another interest is permaculture – the concept of incorporating self-sustaining plants in outdoor landscapes and gardens that reflect and enhance the local ecosystem.
