Web Portrait Heather GerlachHeather is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor offering individual counseling for clients of all ages; infants and children (age 0+), teens, and adults. She supports people facing a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, substance use, and life transitions.

Heather holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Winona State University, where she also earned her Addiction Counseling Certification. Her experience spans school-based mental health, residential addiction recovery programs, and outpatient behavioral health services. She often works with individuals managing both mental health and substance use challenges.

Heather takes a compassionate, client-centered approach, helping people recognize their strengths and develop healthy coping strategies for lasting change. She is committed to building strong therapeutic relationships that empower individuals to improve their emotional well-being and quality of life.

For her youngest clients, Heather also offers specialized, play-based approaches — Theraplay® and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) — that involve parents and caregivers in therapy.
