Jennifer is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor providing therapy for children ages six and older, teens, adults, and couples. She offers individual and couples counseling to help people navigate a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and other emotional or behavioral difficulties.
Jennifer takes a strengths-based approach to therapy, helping clients recognize their personal values, skills, and resilience, and building on those to support meaningful progress. She uses cognitive-behavioral strategies to help clients understand how their thoughts and behaviors affect their well-being. Jennifer is also trained in trauma-focused therapies, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which she incorporates when appropriate to support healing from past trauma.
With more than a decade of experience in behavioral health, Jennifer has worked in both outpatient and day treatment settings. She earned her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Concordia College, Moorhead.
