Professional headshot of smiling Kimberly Spivack RoelikeKimberly experienced care and compassion up close when a family member underwent a significant medical procedure. She was already interested in science and the human body, and this solidified her desire to pursue a career in healthcare. After high school, Kimberly earned an associate degree from Northland Community and Technical College in East Grand Forks, MN, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Scholastica in Duluth. With over ten years of nursing experience at Altru Health System in Grand Forks, the timing was right to continue her education. In 2024, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing at Herzing University in Wisconsin to become a Certified Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner.

Wanting patients to feel comfortable asking questions and empowered to make informed decisions about their health, Kimberly provides both clinical expertise and emotional support in primary and urgent care. She also has special interests and experience in obstetrics, lactation, holistic pain management, and persons with disabilities.

Kimberly joined the team at Glacial Ridge Health System in February 2025. During her clinical rotation at Glenwood Medical Center, she observed the friendly team atmosphere. When deciding where to build her career, she knew she wanted to be part of the Glacial Ridge culture.

Growing up in Grand Forks, a known hockey town, Kimberly knows what a strong community looks like. Her family helped shape who she is–someone determined to forge her own path and make a positive impact, no matter where life leads her. She was attracted to Glenwood and the surrounding community because of its strong sense of connection and welcoming, friendly atmosphere, with Lake Minnewaska as the obvious centerpiece.

Kimberly likes to be active outdoors in her free time. She and her wife, Emily, like to bike, run, hike, or camp at one of Minnesota’s beautiful state parks. She has a large garden and especially enjoys growing cut flowers. They have two cats that keep their life fun and full of energy.
