Dr. Billie Jo Grieve’s diverse knowledge, training, and experiences have given her the background to understand and address her patients’ needs before, during, and after surgery. Patients value her approach to medical care, which involves thoroughly presenting all treatment options to them and their families and then deciding together on the individualized plan of care.
She attained her doctorate degree at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Grand Forks, where she is now a clinical instructor. Following her doctorate, she completed a general surgery residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics.
Dr. Grieve joined Glacial Ridge Health System’s Center for Surgical Care as a board-certified general surgeon in April 2021. She was attracted to GRHS by the teamwork, collaboration, and how the medical staff works together toward a shared mission to “provide heartfelt care.” Dr. Grieve also saw an excellent opportunity to serve the community and balance work with her personal life.
