Raised in North County San Diego, Jordan grew up camping and fishing in Baja California, experiences that helped him connect with people across different cultures and backgrounds. After high school, he served in the Marine Corps, where additional training as a Combat LifeSaver sparked a deeper interest in medicine and shaped his professionalism, discipline, and calm approach in high-stress situations. After transitioning out of the military, it became clear that caring for others when it mattered most was the most meaningful memory of his service.
Jordan attended Colorado State University for his bachelor’s degree in health and exercise science while working as an EMT. He completed the physician assistant program at Augsburg University in Minneapolis.
He has extensive experience in rural and critical-access emergency settings and is committed to understanding local resources, so patients receive thorough, coordinated care close to home. Jordan values open, judgment-free conversations and strives to create a safe space where patients feel heard and respected, especially when they are facing difficult or complex circumstances.
His special medical interests include non-opioid pain management with regional anesthesia techniques, medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder, point-of-care ultrasound, and critical care medicine. Dedicated to ongoing education and innovation in emergency care.
Outside of work, Jordan enjoys staying active by biking, snowboarding, rock climbing, fishing, shooting sports, and taking annual trips to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. He treasures time with his wife, daughter, and their Australian Shepherd.
GRHS stood out to Jordan as a community hospital that truly prioritizes patient-centered care while remaining progressive and adaptable to the community’s needs. Jordan joined the team of medical professionals in April 2026 and looks forward to spending more time in Glenwood, exploring the area’s natural beauty, and building meaningful relationships in the community he serves.
