Three Pope County companies have been named as Top Workplaces by the Star Tribune for 2020. Minnesota employees completed employee satisfaction surveys by Energage, an independent survey company. With the results, Energage ranked the top 150 Minnesota employers in three sizes of companies as Top Workplaces for 2020.
Glacial Ridge Health System (GRHS) was named the number one (first) business of the top 50 companies in Minnesota for midsized employers according to recently released information from the Star Tribune. Glacial Ridge Health System employs 350 regional workers and is headquartered in Glenwood. GRHS also received the Outstanding Managers Award for 2020! In 2019, GRHS was named second of 50 midsize companies in the Top 150 Workplaces.
CEO Kirk Stensrud said the ranking is a tribute to their outstanding team and how each person perceives the culture that they help create. He added, “congrats and thank you to all of our staff for representing the keys to success through heartfelt care!”
American Solutions for Business (ASB), also headquartered in Glenwood, was named fifth of the top 30 workplaces for large companies in Minnesota. ASB is a supplier of promotional products, print/document solutions, office supplies, eCommerce, and marketing solutions nationwide through a network of associates. It employs 1,005 regional workers.
In the small business category, Glenwood State Bank was ranked 50th of 70 in the rankings for Top Workplaces in Minnesota in 2020, it was announced by the Star Tribune last week. Glenwood State Bank is headquartered in Glenwood with two other branch locations and employs 64 regional workers.
