Not All Heroes Wear Capes: Meet Your Local EMS Team

“Every day, you’re called upon to help others through one of the most frightening times of their lives. Every day, you’re called upon to provide a sense of security and relief during chaotic and challenging situations. Every day, you’re called upon to do the work that only a select few can do. Every day, you’re called to care.” Credit www.emsstrong.org.

During National EMS week, we’d like to recognize the difficult, dangerous, and critically important work performed by our EMTs and paramedics, as well as all of our community’s first responders. Thank you for your commitment to serve others and for providing heartfelt care and comfort in emergency situations.

Our Paramedics and EMTs provide emergency care to all of Pope County and portions of Stevens, Douglas and Stearns, 24/7/365. Ambulances are stationed in Brooten, Glenwood, and Starbuck.
