GRHS’s Senior Life Solutions Program Welcomes New Therapist

Glacial Ridge Health System is pleased to welcome Lindsay Majerus, MS, LPCC, as the new Program Therapist for the Senior Life Solutions program.

Glacial Ridge Health System’s Senior Life Solutions program is an intensive outpatient group therapy program designed to meet the unique needs of individuals typically 65 and older experiencing depression or anxiety related to life changes that are often associated with aging. As a therapist, Lindsay Majerus will be responsible for providing therapeutic services for patients utilizing group, individual, and family therapy sessions.

Lindsay obtained her master’s degree in counseling psychology from St. Cloud State University in 2011. She has extensive experience providing support, guidance, and confidential relationships with patients. Lindsay worked as a Mental Health Professional and Clinical Supervisor with Minnewaska Area W.I.N. Academy before accepting this new position. She is Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certified and was a member of the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) team.

Lindsay is excited to start with Senior Life Solutions and transition to working closely with the older populations with the same enthusiasm and care she had with students. Lindsay said, “Having grown up in the area, I’m excited for the opportunity to give back by providing mental health services to our older adult population navigating life transitions.”

Anyone can make a referral—including individuals, family members, physicians, or other healthcare professionals. For more information, call Glacial Ridge Health System’s Senior Life Solutions program at 320.331.2107.
