Star Tribune Names Glacial Ridge Health System a 2021 Top 175 Workplace

Glacial Ridge Health System has been named one of the Top 175 Workplaces in Minnesota by the Star Tribune.

Top Workplaces recognizes the most progressive companies in Minnesota based on employee opinions measuring engagement, organizational health, and satisfaction. The analysis included responses from over 76,000 employees at Minnesota public, private and nonprofit organizations.

The rankings in the Star Tribune Top 175 Workplaces are based on survey information collected by Energage, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention. Rankings were composite scores calculated purely on the basis of employee responses. 159 GRHS employees participated in the Energage survey.

“We have a fantastic group of employees who go above and beyond. GRHS staff are honored to receive the special recognition of being named a Top 175 Workplace—a ranking that places our employee culture among the best,” stated Kirk Stensrud, CEO. “Creating a workplace with high employee engagement takes commitment by all,” added Stensrud.

According to Energage’s website, creating a Top Workplace is about more than offering great benefits and vacation time. It’s about organizational health. Employees want to align with the company’s vision, be challenged by a high-performance culture, and feel that they are valued and that their voices are heard.

Glacial Ridge Health System was named a Top Workplace in 2020 and 2019 as well. Additionally, they received the Top 150 Workplaces On-Track award in 2019 and Outstanding Managers in 2020. See more GRHS awards and recognition.
