Do you know that many ambulance staff in rural communities are volunteers, just like fire personnel and first responders? This is the 50th year of EMS (Emergency Medical Services) Week, which was designated to honor the heroes who save lives in emergencies. The theme, “Honoring Our Past. Forging Our Future.” highlights the dedication of EMS professionals across generations who strive to alleviate suffering and save lives in our communities.
Glacial Ridge pays tribute to all Paramedics, Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), and Emergency Medical Responders (EMRs) for their unwavering commitment. Their tireless efforts and expertise serve as a beacon of hope, providing comfort and lifesaving care to those in need.
Thank you especially to our EMS staff with Glacial Ridge Ambulance and in the ER —both full-time and volunteers who respond from Glenwood, Starbuck, and Brooten.
