Pope County will feel the rumble of motorcycles and cars taking to the roads in support of the Glacial Ridge Hospice program. The 25th annual Riding for a Cause – Motorcycle Ride and Car Run is happening, and area businesses and organizations are continuing to show their support through donations. While it’s not back to the full event yet, the ride committee is able to do a little more than originally planned!
Glacial Ridge Hospice staff and the ride committee would like to thank our community for your continued support! We greatly appreciate our corporate sponsor, Marthaler Chevrolet of Glenwood, for their generous donation and lending of the lead car during the ride.
Schedule of Events for Saturday, June 19:
- 11a – 1p: Papa Don’s Burgers and Wings food truck will be at City Park in Glenwood. Gather safely with friends for lunch!
- 1p: The ride will leave City Park
- 9p: Night ride around Lake Minnewaska – departs from City Park
There is no registration needed this year to participate. View and download maps on the event page for the ride routes and times at intersections if you’d like to watch and cheer on the riders.
Even if you are unable to participate, Glacial Ridge Hospice staff and ride committee encourage you to embrace the open road on your motorcycles or in your vehicles this Saturday to remember and honor our local hospice patients.
