Glacial Ridge Health System Recognized as an Exceptional Minnesota Hospital Workplace

Glacial Ridge Health System has been honored by the Minnesota Hospital Association (MHA) as an Exceptional Minnesota Hospital Workplace. The award was presented at MHA’s Annual Meeting, where 40 hospital teams and individuals from across Minnesota were celebrated for advancing quality, innovation, and community health.

“These awards highlight the dedication of Minnesota’s hospital and health system staff, trustees, and partners to improving the health of our communities,” said MHA President and CEO Dr. Rahul Koranne. “Their efforts are improving patient outcomes, supporting caregivers, and preparing our health system for challenges ahead.”

The Exceptional Minnesota Hospital Workplace award recognizes the staff at Glacial Ridge who create a culture of support and teamwork that makes it a great place to work.

“Being named a Top Workplace by the Star Tribune and now recognized by the Minnesota Hospital Association reflects the culture our team has built,” said Kirk Stensrud, CEO of Glacial Ridge Health System. “That culture directly enhances the care we provide, making Glacial Ridge a great place for patients and families.”

This focus on excellence is also reflected in patient surveys. Glacial Ridge continues to earn 5-star ratings from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in Patient Experience, Patient Recommendation, Cleanliness, Quietness, and Staff Responsiveness.
