Glacial Ridge Center for Surgical Care

I would recommend them to everyone! I have never had such caring people watch over me and take care of me! So often you get ‘pushed’ to other services outside our area, but Glacial Ridge has never done this to me! They always get to the root of my problems. The surgical team here is the best I have ever experienced! I’ve been to others and nothing compares. They have great anesthetists here who actually ask enough questions to take care of us too. This facility is definitely heartfelt care! I love my doctors and nurses here.

I had my gallbladder removed, and the care I received at GRHS was the most heartfelt, individualized, attentive care I have ever had. Everyone that I came across gave me their undivided attention and compassionate care. I truly felt that I was not just a routine surgery. In addition, the follow-up care, phone calls, and check-in from multiple staff members reassured me that I made the best choice in returning to Glenwood to get the best care. Thanks to all!

I had a total replacement of my right knee on June 6th. The surgery was done in the new operating facility of Glacial Ridge Hospital, and the care after surgery was excellent. The nurses and aides were so careful about all the aspects of my recovery. They truly did TLC. Having all these services under one roof – surgery, aftercare, swing bed, and therapy – is so comfortable and sensible. I couldn’t be more pleased. We are indeed blessed with a wonderful full-service hospital and wonderful caregivers.

For the past year, I had nagging pain and tenderness in my abdomen. I saw my regular doctor, Dr. Haus, who discovered a hernia and referred me to the general surgeon. The surgery went well, and I was only uncomfortable for about a week instead of up to three weeks that it takes some people to recover. The staff is always friendly, and it’s a pleasant place to come when I need to see a doctor.
