Glacial Ridge Ambulance staff extends heartfelt gratitude to the community for the overwhelming support received during our 17th Annual Ambulance Toy Drive. The outpouring of generosity through toy donations and monetary gifts has touched our hearts and reinforced the spirit of compassion that defines our community.
During the holiday season, the Ambulance Toy Drive aims to bring joy to children in need, 0 to 18 years old. We are delighted to announce that the response exceeded our expectations, thanks to the incredible kindness of individuals, businesses, and organizations in our service area. Your giving ensures every child experiences the joy and magic of the holiday season regardless of their circumstances.
Glacial Ridge Ambulance also recognizes our supportive retail businesses that went above and beyond for the kids. They offered generous donations and discounts when ambulance staff shopped for additional gifts and winter clothing so kids can play outside.
With ambulances stationed in Glenwood, Starbuck, and Brooten, the Toy Drive goes beyond county lines. The toy and teen gifts donated in the Pope County area were distributed to families participating in Armful of Love, a Pope County Family Collaborative program. Likewise, the BBE School District gifted the items collected in Brooten and Belgrade to BBE families in need.
Every gift and dollar contributed will have a lasting impact on the well-being of our community. Once again, thank you for making the Ambulance Toy Drive a resounding success. We are grateful for the fantastic community we call home.
