The Auxiliary of Glacial Ridge Health System invites the community to trade the Minnesota chill for an evening of island elegance at the 22nd annual Harvest Ball. This year’s Tropical Paradise theme fills Lakeside Ballroom with lush greenery for an airy, resort-like escape. Your ticket is your passport.
An Evening to Remember
The fun begins Friday, October 9, with a 5 p.m. social hour, featuring a silent auction and games of chance that continue throughout the night. At 7 p.m., Lakeside will serve a delicious black forest ham dinner with pineapple bourbon glaze, Yukon gold potatoes, and a Key West vegetable blend, followed by dessert. Dietary needs can be accommodated with advance notice to Joanna at GRHS. The live auction kicks off around 8 p.m. with Zielsdorff Auctioneers. From 9 to 11 p.m., guests can dance the night away to the band Mid-Flight.
A Sneak Peek at the Auction
The live auction is always a Harvest Ball favorite, and this year’s lineup offers something for everyone. Here’s just a taste of what’s waiting for bidders:
- Mini-Waska Donut Event, donated by Phil and Katherine Strumpf
- Pie of the Month Club, donated by Auxiliary members and friends
- Blackstone Griddle, donated by Stryhn Builds
- Paddle North portable, inflatable Utility Dock, donated by Bobbers Marine
And that’s only a sneak peak. More live auction surprises, along with an exciting selection of silent auction items and games of chance are generously donated by area businesses and friends of the Auxiliary will be waiting in paradise.
Supporting a Great Cause
Proceeds from the Harvest Ball support the Auxiliary’s $50,000 pledge toward a new Point-of-Care Ultrasound machine for the GRHS Emergency Department, helping bring faster, bedside diagnosis to patients in critical moments. Learn more about the cause HERE.
Reserve Your Place in Paradise – Don’t Wait!
