Welcome Dr Kostioukhina

Dr. Ekaterina Kostioukhina Joins the Glacial Ridge Care Team

Glacial Ridge Health System (GRHS) is pleased to welcome Dr. Ekaterina Kostioukhina (kos-tyoo-KEEN-a), a board-certified internal medicine physician who joined GRHS in June 2026. Practicing in both the clinic and the hospital, she cares for adults across the full range of everyday and complex medical needs, expanding access to internal medicine care for patients in the community.

Dr. Kostioukhina earned her medical degree from the University of Miami and completed her internal medicine residency through the University of Miami and JFK Medical Center program in Florida. She is board certified in internal medicine and holds a master’s degree in psychology from Harvard. Over the past 10 years, she has cared for patients in hospitals across the country, including many rural and underserved communities in Missouri, Wyoming, and Massachusetts, and most recently in New Zealand. In addition to English, she speaks fluent Spanish and Russian.

“Welcoming a physician of Dr. Kostioukhina’s experience reflects our commitment to bringing exceptional internal medicine care to our community. Her patient-first approach is exactly what we strive for at Glacial Ridge,” said Kirk Stensrud, CEO.

Dr. Kostioukhina’s approach to care centers on listening, understanding each person’s history and goals, and explaining conditions and options clearly so patients can make confident decisions about their health.

“What drew me to Glacial Ridge was the mix of hospital and clinic medicine, an independent health system that offers a broad range of care, and a community where I can build real relationships with my patients. It checked every box for the kind of medicine I want to practice,” said Dr. Kostioukhina.

Dr. Kostioukhina joined the GRHS care team as a locum physician and is open to the possibility of making GRHS a longer-term part of her career. Dr. Kostioukhina is accepting new patients. To schedule an appointment, call 320.634.5157.
