Glacial Ridge Hospital receives top marks for patient experience, and it is one that patients would highly recommend to family and friends. Ten other hospitals in Minnesota (273 nationally) earned a five-star rating for Patient Experience, and 16 other hospitals in the state received five stars for Patient Recommendation. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) also lists Glacial Ridge Hospital as five stars for Cleanliness, Physician Communication, Quietness, and Staff Responsiveness.
The notable recognitions are based on the national, standardized survey of hospital patients called the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey required by CMS. It’s the gold standard for measuring patient experience across the U.S.
