These thoughtful upgrades include a queen-size bed for mothers and their support partners, cozy recliners, a dining table and chairs, a refrigerator, and beautiful lakeside views – ensuring comfort and privacy, and allowing families to celebrate the birth of their child together in a peaceful setting.

While the new postpartum suites reflect the hospital’s commitment to comfort and family-focused care, there’s one essential feature still missing: soothing tubs for new moms to relax and recover after childbirth. This year’s Harvest Ball aims to raise the $30,000 needed to complete the bathroom remodel, adding whirlpool tubs and spacious vanity areas. These upgrades will help mothers heal, restore their energy, and truly enjoy their first days with their newborn in an environment that feels more like home.

Event Details
The 21st annual Harvest Ball, set for Friday, October 10 at Lakeside Ballroom, promises an exciting Casino Royale evening with a delicious dinner, live and silent auction, games of chance, and live music from Mid-Flight. Tickets are $75 each and can be purchased until September 25 at the Glacial Ridge Hospital Reception Desk or by contacting Joanna at 320.334.5539. Tables of 10 can be purchased and reserved for your group. Your support provides a soothing recovery and a healthy, joyful start to family life – a lasting gift to our entire community.
