Glacial Ridge Health System is expanding access to mental health care with two programs designed to meet the needs of patients across different stages of life.

Counseling & Behavioral Health Services
Now available at Glenwood Medical Center, counseling services are offered for children (ages 6+), teens, and adults. Three therapists—Karla Sundheim, Jennifer Gullickson, and Heather Gerlach—provide counseling for concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, substance use, and other behavioral health needs. Services include individual, couples, and family therapy.
“By adding counseling services, we’re increasing access to mental health care for children (6+), teens, and adults in our community,” said Rachel Wagner, Clinic Manager. “Our therapists bring experience and compassion in providing care for individuals with mental health needs.”

Senior Life Solutions (SLS): Support for Adults 65+
Glacial Ridge Health System also offers Senior Life Solutions (SLS), an outpatient mental health program tailored specifically for adults 65 and older who may be experiencing depression, anxiety, loneliness, or other concerns. Through a combination of group therapy, individual counseling, and medical support, SLS helps seniors navigate life’s challenges in a safe and welcoming environment. Lindsey Majerus leads the sessions as the program therapist.
“Older adults often face challenges that can go unnoticed, from loneliness to major life transitions,” added Kelly Jones, RN, Program Director for Senior Life Solutions. “There’s a strong connection between emotional health and physical well-being. Our program offers specialized care and support to help adults 65 and older develop coping skills, foster connections, and strengthen both their emotional and physical well-being.”
Together, these expanded services reflect Glacial Ridge Health System’s ongoing commitment to heartfelt care. By addressing both mental and physical health, Glacial Ridge is helping patients and families of all ages build resilience, improve quality of life, and thrive within the community.
